Irish Census Records and Census Substitutes

Unfortunately, few census records exist for Ireland prior to the 20th century due to the 1921 fire at the Four Courts Building in Dublin. This fire meant the loss of important genealogical data including census records, parish registers and some wills.

We have provided links to various Irish census records & sites that we find useful. Some are subscription sites, others are free. Do it yourself, or have us conduct a search for you by calling or submitting a request for a Free Estimate. If you find any invalid links, please let us know.
