Remember that the French and Indian War was a Colonial War and military personnel records are not generally maintained by the National Archives. Most military records are in the Archives of France and the United Kingdom. Some are also held as colonial records by state archives of the original colonies. Some records also exist for those who also served during the American Revolution. Don't forget that individual States and some counties also maintain records of veterans of various wars and conflicts. Click to go to the State Resource page.
